The current research shows that child sexual abuse has a long-lasting impact on attachment style from early childhood continuing into adulthood. Fresno et al. (2014) were interested in the attachment representations in preschool aged children in Chile because few studies focus on CSA survivors that young and the results of those few studies have not been conclusive. (2017) found a direct relationship between CSA and attachment style—this time following survivors into adulthood. Meyer et al. were interested in the persistent complications of C SA into adulthood, including adult attachment styles. They hypothesized that CSA directly leads to insecure attachment, especially avoidant and anxious attachment, which in return results in maladaptive emotion regulation and inappropriate behaviors. They also hypothesized that women who experienced CSA would be closely associated with anxious attachment and CSA men would be associated with avoidant attachment. Meyer et al. explored this by administering an online survey advertised to local college campuses, community organizations, mental health counseling groups, and local 12-step sexual addiction treatment groups. The survey measured attachment style by examining participants’ avoidance and anxiety. Out of 751 participants, 129 or 16% of participants reported experiencing CSA (32 males and 97 females). The results showed that those with CSA in their history were more likely to have an anxious adult attachment, and surprisingly found no relationship for avoidant attachment. This is a direct relationship between CSA history and insecure adult attachment, and was found to not be mediated by gender. Identifying interesting or insightful pieces of the text: When reading The Difference of Race I found it particularly interesting that the South would go as far as to consider themselves a different race from the North. The article specifies why they most likely decided to do this, â€Å"As Jared Gardner has accurately observed, â€Å"growing regional divisions between North and South prompted metaphors of race to describe distinctions that were regional, political, economic—anything but racial† (Watson, 11). I find it interesting that this group of people based such importance on race that they felt they needed to be made into their own singular race to look better than not only the negro but also the North. It seems that this indicates that they not only wanted the importance and authority they had over colored people but they needed to also expand that control over the Northern people by trying to create their own race and then assert that it was already better than the other existing races. It was insightful to see that t he South was this concerned about the way they were viewed and that they were in a position of power and prestige. Literature Review There is quite a bit of prior research done on gender differences in regard to gun control. The following articles used all help to provide support for the hypothesis that in a comparison of individuals, women are more likely to support stricter gun control laws than men. Most of the articles use polling to help prove this hypothesis, and some even help explain what might cause women to be more supportive of stricter gun control and why this is significant. One article that has research on the subject is from the nationaljournal.com, and it addresses a 2013 NBC/Wall Street Journal poll that shows that 65 percent of women favor stronger gun laws, compared to only 44 percent of men. These numbers support the hypothesis but the article tries to dive into why gender is related to gun control. The article explains that men are three times more likely to own guns than women and that opinions on the effectiveness of gun laws vary greatly depending on whether you own a gun or if there is on e in your house. Therefore an argument can be made that women are more likely to support stricter gun laws because they are less likely to own a gun. The article then also brings up a key counter point that maybe women are just more likely to not own a gun because they are more likely to not support gun ownership. Depending upon the nature of research and the peculiarities of the research work, the researcher identifies appropriateness of a particular research design. The experimental design is considered appropriate when the research involves some experimental work. The experimental design provides for the plans to be drawn to collect the data and perform analysis using different variables (Taylor, 2006). It could be said that the experimental design is a layout of the overall plan drawn by the researcher. The depth and quality of analysis depends upon the experimental research design chosen by the researcher. In the experimental research design, the data is collected by the primary data collections methods namely survey or interview (Taylor, 2006). The experiments are then performed on the data collected through survey or experiments. Another more commonly used research design is the cross-sectional design. The cross-sectional research design is suited most in the case of research being conducted in the social or medical areas. In the cross-sectional research design, the data collected belongs to different groups. Further, the data collection method used in this type of research design is observations. An example of cross-sectional research study could be the study on the cancer diagnosis on the different age people (Taylor, 2006). Apart from the above, another most frequently used research design is the longitudinal design. This type of research design is considered to be suitable for the research study conducted to explore the behavior of the individuals at different stages over the time span of their life (Bryman and Bell, 2015). The longitudinal research differs from cross-sectional research in the sense that the former studies one group of individuals whilst the later studies more than one group of individuals. The data collection method used in the longitudinal research is observation. Further, case study research design is also popular. In this case, the research is conducted to study a particular case study and find out the facts based on that study. The scope of research is very limited in the case of case study research. The case study differs from other researches in terms of its scope which is narrow as compared to experimental and other quantitative researches. The data for research is collected fr om the case study itself, thus, the method of data collection would be said to be the documents review (Bryman and Bell, 2015). In addition to the above discussed research designs, there is one more popular research design namely comparative research design. The researcher adopts comparative research design when the research is being conducted to compare two variables such as culture of two countries. The data collection methods applied in case of comparative research design could be primary such as survey or secondary such as documents review. However, care is required when collecting data in comparative research that the data attributes must be comparable with each other (Bryman and Bell, 2015). 2. The variance and standard deviation are the statistical computations which are used in the quantitative researches to analyze and interpret the data. The standard deviation is computed to find that the gap in the values from the mean of those values. In other words, the standard deviation is computed to find out the dispersion of the values from the mean (Fallon, 2016). Further, the variance is also used for the same purposes for which standard deviation is used. The variance is computed by taking the square of standard deviation. The standard deviation and variance both are used in the quantitative research to establish relationships between different data values of the data set (Fallon, 2016). Vix Records Coffee Bandwagon

Question: Case Overview Vix Records is considering placing recorded music into a non-traditional channel of distribution. Specifically, we are considering selling recorded music through Java Wheels, a mobile coffee retailer. Java Wheels tends to sell to younger consumers.
